A little invitation…
There are places that hold something special. Kinnoull Hill is one of ours.
We walk these woods often. In every season. Watching the light change, listening to the wind in the trees, noticing how the forest quietly holds stories within it.
For the months of February and March, we are offering a small number of intimate portrait session for individuals at a heavily discounted rate.
These sessions are for those who…
Feel at home among trees.
Are wanderers, witches, goddesses and quiet souls.
Anyone who would love to be part of the forest or just to connect to nature for a few hours and have fun doing it.
No experience needed. No expectations. Just curiosity and a warm coat!
Come as you are or as whoever you’d like to become for a little while.
Timing & availability
This is a limited seasonal offering.
Sessions are available until 1st April, while the forest still holds its winter‑to‑spring atmosphere and the light remains soft and low.
Morning sessions work best (start around 9.30–10am), when the woods are quiet and the paths are still.
Places are limited and fitted around our existing handmade product studio work.
What to wear
This is Scotland. It will be cold, muddy, breezy or softly raining. Often that’s when the forest is at its most beautiful. So it is imperative to bring warm clothes with you. For your photographs, think texture and layers. Natural fabrics, flowing fabrics and earthy tones photograph beautifully ~ wool, linen, knits, cloaks, boots.
Session & Image Fee £200
Included:
• A relaxed 2–3 hour session in Kinnoull Hill Woodlands.
• Creative direction and full editing.
• 10+ professionally edited high-resolution images.
• A private online gallery to view and download.
Our editing style is soft and painterly, inspired by the same approach we use across our fine art and The Auld Romantics photography. These portraits are intended as keepsakes and something to return to, long after fashions and trends have passed.
A £100 deposit secures your session. Once booked, we will be in touch closer to your date to check confirm arrangements.
A final word
These sessions are very close to our hearts. They are about slowing down and spending a few hours being creative in nature. Letting the forest do what it does best. If the idea of wandering in this woodland and creating something quietly timeless speaks to you… Well we would love to meet you!
